Sorry to disappoint, but considering the heavy nerfing on the 105 monks, and the UW in general, I don't think anyone developing any monk builds to tackle the update are likely to post their builds up any time soon.

Also, why wait for someone else to do all the hard work for you? Why not just take a good look at your skills, and try to use your head to come up with something?

Anyway, it's not like UW is no longer soloable. You can still do it even with the "Latest 1337 cookie-cutter build" - It just takes a little more skill than piling into a few ataxes with Prot bond and Aura of Balthazar - So easy even I can do that!

Or better yet, and this might seem like a really odd suggestion....how about...going in with a team! I know. It really sounds absurd and crazy, but you might actually have a bit more fun than just going solo just for a sniff at an ecto.

You guys crack me up. Apparently everyone has overlooked the answer to solo'ing of UW. It has been mentioned more than once how to solo the UW now. *GASP* EVEN IN THIS THREAD! *GASP* QUICK! Everyone shut the doors, close the thread, OR even delete it before the word gets out!

*goes to solo the UW* I have more ecto than you, neener!

You're gonna need something stronger than 25HP self destructing shadows to kill us!

Hey guys, dont tell me you really didnt see this coming. Everyone and their mom knew that enchantment strippers were coming to the UW. Enough said, I wont tell you any secrets.

I would personally laugh when the Nightmares gain about 10 levels in the next update... now that will be quite funny. What would be even funnier is if they changed them to be 50/50 chance at either a mesmer on or a necro one... "Oh nightmare let me throw on spellbreaker...@#&%... wtf..." *is shattered then degened to hell*

Posting builds doesn't get them nerfed. Using them does. Since everything about you characters is stored on their servers, they can see it if they wish. Anet gets data on all instances regarding parties, drops, and areas. If they can see that single-person parties are going into UW and getting more than one or two items, and they really don't want the UW to be soloable, they will continue to fix it so it can't be solo'd.

I don't. Wasn't GW called "cooperative mmorpg" or whatever? Solo hardly counts as cooperative in my dictionary. People want uber solo characters - there are games that allow that.

This has been asked and asked over and over again! and it's not really
relevant, it's just a way to shout your mouths off in my oppinion!
